People are getting excited about HS Rugby in Florida! Juice coaches are out scouting at virtually every game! There are college scholarships available. We have an incredible opportunity to grow the sport as more and more young players move into referee and coaching roles - and we need to encourage them! Swami is happy to help create some buzz! No surprise, how I predicted the Krewe win over Riviera Beach last week - the Swami knows when it will rain and who will have the advantage! Email me Swami@rugbyfl.com Posted on 3/4/2015 7:14:48 PM		SWAMI GAME OF THE WEEK:  Daytona U19 vs Cape Pirates Swami is looking for reasons to pick Cape Pirates to upset Daytona but cannot find any.  Nobody has cracked the coconuts' defense yet- they have only given up two tries in four games played.  But Swamis do not live on logic.  Game of the week is also UPSET OF THE WEEK!!!   Cape Pirates 22 -  Daytona 11. Jupiter Sharks vs. Riviera Beach Swami almost picked this one as SGOW.  This will be a great matchup and very interesting to watch.  RBMA has come a long way in this their third season.  And they are in the running for the State Championships and they could surprise some people.  Swami sees this matchup growing into an intense rivalry in the coming years.  Jupiter does the basics better and will win this one.    Jupiter Sharks 28 - Riviera Beach 19.   Miami Rugby HS   vs  St. Thomas Aquinas Rugby Raiders got their first win in school history last week.  Swami knew Miami was not going to lose last week!  (Their game was rained out)  STA had a taste of the sweet taste of victory and if they had a good week in practice, they should continue to improve.  St. Thomas Aquinas 21 - Miami Rugby 10. Tampa Krewe vs Orlando Krewe notched their first win of the season last week and Orlando continues to roll.  Swami sees Krewe able to hang with the Griffs.  Quigs and Guido are busy designing line-out plays for close to the goal line.  Everybody has everybody else’s game tape.  Swami sees this going down to a penalty kick which will miss and the game will end it a tie!  Tampa Krewe 19 - Orlando 19. Key Biscayne Rats HS  vs. Boca Raton HS This should be a good game.  The teams are similar.  Both programs have huge numbers.  Buuuut,it will be a few years before the U10, 12 and 14 kids make an impact on the HS teams.  The clear difference here is flyhalf Marcos Young for the Islanders who is starting to realize that he can take over a game.  Key Biscayne 24 -  Boca Raton 14. Naples Bears - HS   vs  Mavericks RFC Mavericks have to travel across the alley to play the Bears.  The Mavs are getting better as they play their way through the season and Swami predicts Mavs will win this season, just not this week.  Naples Bears 50 - Mavs 10. Weston vs. Cardinal Gibbons. Weston is frustrated by their game being cancelled last week.  They will wanna rock like the big curly headed guy on American Idol who sang the Twisted Sister song.   Gibbons has the best 9-10 combination in Florida but forwards win games, even in high school.  Weston 37 - Cardinal Gibbons 10.
